Blackpink will release a new album in December.

According to Xports News reporting on the 16th, Blackpink Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa are preparing a new album with the goal of a December release.

Initially, Blackpink planned to release a digital single in the latter half of this year, followed by the full album. Following this plan, the digital single “JUMP” was released in July, and Blackpink has been working on the album alongside their ongoing world tour.

Given their busy schedule, the album is now expected to release in mid-December. The original targets had been October or November, but the schedule was adjusted.

Blackpink drew attention earlier this year with “JUMP”, their first new song in three years since their second full album in September 2022. “JUMP” not only debuted at number one on the weekly charts during its first week but also set a K-pop girl group record by surpassing 300 million streams on Spotify just two months after release, demonstrating Blackpink's extraordinary popularity.

In addition, Blackpink is expected to meet fan expectations by releasing their new work in full album format this December.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently conducting their world tour “DEADLINE.” They have completed performances in North America and Europe and will meet fans in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and other locations.
