Korean netizens in the comment section agreed with the poster's theory. Many believed that Jang Wonyoung simply did not make her friendship with other idols obvious, which people thought was a good choice in her career. They believed that if she wanted to have a long-lasting career, she wouldn't make her friendships a focal part of her identity.

It was noted that a lot of idol fans hate it when their bias makes their friendships too obvious, nothing that you don't like a celebrity just because of their connections with others in the industry. People believe idols should focus on being good at their jobs, as well as showing love to their fans. Jang Wonyoung is known to be good at both.
