IVE’s “IVE EMPATHY” Smashes Records, Solidifying Million-Seller Status

IVE’s latest mini-album, “IVE EMPATHY,” has exploded onto the scene, selling a staggering 1,048,048 copies in its first week, according to Hanteo Chart, Korea’s leading music sales tracker.

This impressive feat marks the highest initial sales for any K-pop album released this year, cementing IVE‘s position as a powerhouse in the industry.

This achievement marks IVE’s fifth consecutive million-selling album, following After LIKE, I’ve IVE, I’VE MINE, and IVE SWITCH. The group has clearly captured fans’ hearts (and wallets) worldwide.

IVE EMPATHY has also made waves internationally, debuting at number three on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and topping the “Top K-pop Album” charts in 15 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, France, and Germany.

The album’s dual title tracks, “REBEL HEART” and “ATTITUDE,” are dominating domestic charts. “REBEL HEART,” released ahead of the album, has achieved a remarkable nine music show wins and has conquered Melon’s TOP 100 and HOT 100 charts, along with Bugs, Genie, FLO, and Vibe charts. It has also made a splash on global charts like Billboard’s “Global 200,” “Global (excluding US),” and the UK Official Chart.

“ATTITUDE” is also riding high, fueled by IVE’s captivating live performances and viral choreography. It currently sits at the top of Vibe’s domestic rapid rise chart and number two on Bugs’ real-time, daily, and weekly charts.
