Jay Park Announces Return to Music with “Jay Park Season” Teaser Trailer

Jay Park is gearing up for a comeback!

On April 15th, the multifaceted artist, renowned for his skills in singing, songwriting, rapping, and producing, posted a teaser trailer titled “Jay Park Season” on his social media platforms, signaling the start of his music endeavors.

The trailer showcases Park in his element—recording music, showcasing his dance moves, and engaging in on-set filming, adeptly balancing roles both behind and in front of the camera.

Reflecting on his journey, Park shares in the trailer, “It’s been a crazy 16 years. Highs and lows, triumphs and tribulations, moments of joy and tears. You all have been my constant support since day one, breathing life into my journey till this very moment. And for that, I am eternally grateful.”

While Park had been immersed in entrepreneurial ventures, he expressed that it’s now time to reconnect with his musical roots, stating, “It’s time to get back to what brought me here in the first place.”

As announced by his agency, More Vision, in a press release on April 16th, further details regarding Park’s upcoming music releases and activities will be disclosed on his social media platforms at a later date.

In the past year, Park treated fans to the single “Yesterday” along with digital singles like “Candy (feat. Zion.T)” and “Why.” Additionally, he collaborated with producer and DJ Slom on a four-track EP titled “Slay House Remix.”

Park, also known by his full name Park Jae-beom in Korea, initially rose to fame as a member of the boy band 2PM in 2008 before departing in 2009 to embark on his solo journey. He kicked off his solo career with his debut EP, “Count on Me,” in 2010.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Park has made significant contributions to talent management. He founded the music labels AOMG in 2013 and H1GHR MUSIC in 2017, serving as co-CEO until 2021. Presently, he holds the role of executive music and entertainment adviser for the esports team Gen.G Esports.
