Chungha’s future with MORE VISION has become a topic of discussion after comments from company founder Jay Park sparked backlash from fans.
Chungha joined Jay Park’s label in October 2023 after leaving her longtime agency, MNH Entertainment.

During a recent interview with K-POPIT, Chungha revealed that her contract with the company is approaching its end and that she is currently discussing her next steps.
My contract is coming to an end, and we’re talking about it. Jay Park actually told me to meet with other companies and figure out what’s best for me. We’re still discussing the best option.
— Chungha

The comments quickly drew criticism from fans, who questioned the way MORE VISION has handled the singer’s career.
for a company that promised to give chungha everything she needed, the fact that he’s telling her to explore a new company and figure out what’s best for her is disrespectful because he wasted more years of her career and didn’t fulfill any promises he made to her or her fans

useless fucker when i catch you…….you definitely thought she was going to be a piggy bank for your company and that minimum promotion would suffice, but now that reality finally kicked in suddenly you're suggesting she tries something better… https://t.co/bQwRjblycq

Many fans had high expectations when she signed with the company, especially after Chungha’s successful solo career with hits like “Gotta Go” and “Snapping.” However, some fans now claim that MORE VISION did not provide the level of promotion and support they expected.
jay park going out of his way to recruit chungha just so that he could drain her for money for his future projects w his groups, give her lil to no activities, and cut her off a year or two later by telling her to essentially gtfo is so fucking evil idk how else to say it

Reactions online accused Jay Park of recruiting Chungha but failing to properly manage her career, with some fans saying his comments made it seem like he was simply ready to let her leave.
the way he was bothering her and begging to join his company only for him to do almost nothing for her AND THEN when her contract is coming to an end he says "go to other companies and try to find what's better for you" BRO FUCK OFF

Others defended Chungha’s decision-making, saying she should choose whichever company gives her the best opportunities moving forward.
