K-Pop and K-Hiphop company AT AREA was recently accused of Sinophobia. Amongst viral rumors that AT AREA was amongst the three K-Pop companies vying to sign on girl group EVERGLOW, the company allegedly was against signing Wang Yiren. Yiren is the only Chinese and non-Korean member of EVERGLOW.

A viral post on Weibo from May 14, 2025, claimed that P.Nation, AT AREA, and One Hundred were all fighting to sign the girls. While P.Nation and One Hundred wanted to sign everyone, AT AREA allegedly wanted to exclude Yiren.

Heard some accurate news. In early May, One Hundred, AT AREA, and even P.Nation have contacted a portion of members of EVERGLOW. Currently, One Hundred and P.Nation have intentions of signing with all members, while At.area wants to sign everyone but Wang Yiren.
