K-POP DEBUT: NEWBEAT To Detonate “RAW AND RAD”

This isn’t your typical rookie rollout – NEWBEAT meticulously crafted an 11-track sonic journey showcasing fearless approach to music!

NEWBEAT, composed of members Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo, is stepping into the music scene with their debut full-length album RAW AND RAD.

Scheduled for release on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 24th, the album embodies the fearless spirit of youth embracing challenges without fear of failure.

Featuring a total of 11 tracks, including the previously released singles ‘JeLLo (힘숨찐)’ and ‘HICCUPS’, as well as the title track ‘Flip the Coin’, ‘RAW AND RAD’ explores themes of passionate ambition and genuine emotions.

The album showcases a dynamic blend of sounds, with notable contributions from producers Maalib on the introspective ‘RAW AND RAD’ and ‘ZERO-SUM GAME’, and BTOB’s 임현식 on the uplifting track ‘FLY’. Khundi Panda adds depth with a feature on RAW AND RAD.

‘Flip the Coin’, the lead single, channels a nostalgic 90s old-school vibe, characterized by eclectic samples, vibrant drums, and an irresistible hook. The song delves into the dichotomy of existence, reflecting on the coexistence of good and evil as intrinsic parts of life.

The music video, directed by creative talents Park Bi and Yoon Seung-rim of Legend Film, promises to captivate with its visually stunning narrative, further enhanced by director Lee Ye-ji’s creative vision.

Presented by Beat Interactive after an 8-year hiatus, NEWBEAT has garnered attention even prior to its debut through global busking tours, cultivating a dedicated international fanbase.
