When a group is announced to be going on tour, fans are thrilled at the opportunity to see their favorite idols in person. For groups with a larger fanbase, the biggest concern for fans is getting the desired ticket.

One concern for groups or idols with smaller fanbases can be selling enough tickets for the tour to go through.

8TURN’s low ticket sales are said to be a combination of several issues, including the management company’s lack of promotion of the tour. Concert fatigue, caused by the number of expensive concerts occurring within the same couple of months, could also be a possible explanation rather than a lack of popularity.

The group also announced the tour well in advance and still has time before it takes place, meaning some might be waiting to purchase.

Though this could be very disheartening, the group have approached the low sales in a way that has impacted netizens.

In a TikTok shared on their account, the group “pretended” their tour had sold out, referring to a line in Doechii‘s “Denial Is A River.”
