Kim Jong Min, a member of the veteran co-ed group Koyote, recently opened up about a shocking incident involving a former manager who allegedly pocketed congratulatory wedding money. This revelation comes after fellow Koyote member Bbaekga previously shared a similar experience.
On the July 9 episode of Channel A’s Men’s Life These Days – Groom’s Class, Kim Jong Min appeared after returning from his honeymoon and chatted with fellow cast members Kim Dong Hyun and Moon Se Yoon. Naturally, the topic of wedding gift money came up.
Kim revealed that he had entrusted his former manager from Koyote to pay his congratulatory money on his behalf when he had attended someone else’s wedding. Later on, he revealed that the manahger had made off with it.
“I checked my records and I had actually entrusted the money to a younger friend, who was my former manager at the time. He often made mistakes. I went straight into the venue, and he was supposed to give it on my behalf, but it seems like it went missing.”
Previously, Baekga had also confessed to entrusting his wedding gift money to a former manager, only to later find out it had been stolen.
“One day, an acquaintance cautiously asked why I didn’t give anything at the wedding. Turns out the manager had taken everything. I messaged people asking if anyone else didn’t receive anything from me, and several replied that they hadn’t. That manager ended up quitting after that.”
No wonder celebrities have a hard time trusting people!
