According to confirmation by Star News on May 2, 2026 (KST), Narsha’s husband, music producer Hwang Tae Kyung, underwent emergency brain surgery on April 29 and is now focusing on recovery. A representative from Narsha’s side stated, “It’s true that her husband had surgery.”

She shared the news because people around him were worried, but he was surprised to see it become a news article. As far as we know, his condition is not as serious as people might fear. The surgery was successfully completed, so now it’s just about recovering well.

Previously, on April 30, Hwang Tae Kyung personally revealed the news through his Instagram, stating, “The symptoms had been progressing for a long time, and recently it became difficult to carry out daily life.”

I’m currently using a ventilator, so it’s difficult to talk on the phone. I apologize for not being able to respond to calls. I can check messages, even if it takes a bit longer.
