Recently, EXID‘s Hyelin, Ex-F-ve Dolls‘ Seo Eunkyo, and Raina were guests on the YouTube channel This Is Really the Final, where they spilled on their lives as idols.

Inevitably, the topics of relationships came up, after the host asked if it was hard to date without having access to a cell phone. The idols shared that it was not, with Rania saying that she would find a way no matter what.

Raina then begins discussing her own past relationship, sharing the sneaky way she and her boyfriend communicated by using the same email like a diary.

She said that her past boyfriend was the one who confessed to her, revealing that he was also an idol and had no phone himself.

The idol then said that even though they were forced to break up, they got back together secretly anyways. She commented that companies would do better to let idols date and break-up naturally, rather than force it and create a sort of “Romeo and Juilet” affect.

While it is expected that idols will date, some SEVENTEEN fans have taken issue with Raina’s comments due to her past rumors with Hoshi.

The pair were suspected to be dating in 2016, a year after Hoshi’s debut, meaning he likely did not have a cell phone as a rookie idol.
