K-Pop Idol’s Expensive, Rare Wedding Dress Becomes A Hot Topic

She spared no expense.

A K-Pop idol made headlines in Korea not just for her nuptials but also for one of the wedding dresses she wore on her special day.

On April 6, T-ARA‘s Hyomin tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband, who reportedly works in finance. Their wedding was a lavish affair, held at a grand hotel that featured fairytale cherry blossoms, celebrity guests, and three gorgeous wedding gowns.

During the ceremony, Hyomin wore a lush, sculpted dress from the 2025 Spring/Summer haute couture collection by Sara Murad. Vogue Korea was just one of the Korean media outlets that wrote an article about Hyomin’s dress after the ceremony.

What makes Hyomin’s dress so special? First of all, just look at it. It’s gorgeous–a confection of fabric that resembles a tiered wedding cake. Secondly, only two of these dresses exist in South Korea.

Although the price of the dress hasn’t been disclosed, it reportedly costs between ₩5.00 million KRW (about $3,520 USD) and ₩10.0 million KRW (about $7,040 USD) just to rent an imported designer dress like Hyomin’s. Between her dresses, venue, and decor, she spared no expense!
