According to a Star News report on April 17, 2025, Hyomin’s husband has been revealed to be Kim Hyun Seung, a managing director at Bain Capital’s Seoul office. Born in November 1979, he is 46 years old by Korean age, making him 10 years older than Hyomin, who was born in May 1989 and is 36 by Korean age. Despite the age difference, the couple nurtured their relationship with marriage in mind and have now reached a happy conclusion.

Managing Director Kim Hyun Seung was reported to be a key figure at Bain Capital’s Seoul office, overseeing major deals and portfolio management, and is known as a “handsome finance man.” He graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in industrial engineering, worked at Bain & Company’s Seoul office, and served as a director at Unison Capital, focusing on private equity investment in Korea. He joined Bain Capital in 2018. Bain Capital is considered one of the prominent global private equity firms actively making moves in the domestic M&A market.
