Korean netizens are divided after clips from W Korea’s Love Your W 2025 event resurfaced online, showing several top idols partying at what was meant to be a breast cancer awareness campaign.
The videos have now gone viral — and so has the debate over whether the stars should share the blame with the magazine.
A compilation post that spread on TheQoo today showed many big-name celebrities drinking, dancing, and singing throughout the night.
Only one clip, shared by W Korea’s official account, showed a brief speech addressing breast cancer awareness — while the rest of the footage looked more like a lavish afterparty than a charity event.
The list of attendees included BTS’s RM, j-hope, and V, aespa, IVE, i-dle, ITZY’s Yeji and Yuna, TXT’s Soobin, and actor Byeon Woo Seok, among many others.
The viral post has garnered over 60,000 views and thousands of comments full of scathing criticism.
Though none of the idols have commented publicly, many are expressing disappointment, saying the tone of the event was inappropriate given its purpose. Others, however, argue that the idols were simply guests and should not be blamed for how the event was organized.

- “They really should be ashamed of themselves.”
- “Why are they trying to pass off a party where people wear dresses, drink, dance, and socialize as a breast cancer charity event?”
- “It’s bizarre that you’re circulating a list of attending celebrities instead of brands that donated less… You’re just looking for clout.”
- “I hate every single one of them.”
- “Ugh.”
- “Completely brainless.”
- “If you want to party, just do it among yourselves without using breast cancer as an excuse.”
- “Pathetic.”
- “Seriously, this is just weird…”
- “That’s what happens when you copy something half-heartedly. It’s supposed to be a charity event… what exactly did they even donate or do?”
What do you think? What do you think? Should the idols also be held accountable, or is the blame solely on W Korea? You can share your thoughts in our social media post below!
