KARD has captivated fans with a new short-form performance video for their track “Tell My Momma,” released on their official YouTube channel.
It blends music with film in a unique way, reflecting current trends in short-form content. The group split into two pairs—BM with Jeon So-min, and J.Seph with Jeon Ji-woo—to recreate iconic scenes from well-known films like Titanic, Pretty Woman, Laboum, and Big Fish. The video features a cinematic structure with a clear introduction, development, climax, and conclusion, while the members also showed off their acting skills to the new song.
The production mimics the style of an omnibus movie, even concluding with credits, further enhancing its film-like aesthetic. It seamlessly integrates music and cinematic elements, creating a cohesive and immersive experience. The video’s production quality is impressive, with meticulous attention paid to lighting, cinematography, and editing.
KARD’s 7th mini-album Where To Now? (Part.1: Yellow Light) has made waves globally. The title track “Tell My Momma” entered the iTunes Top Albums charts in nine countries and regions, and also secured a spot in the Top 10 of the iTunes K-pop Top Songs charts in 12 countries, reaching #1 in Paraguay and Saudi Arabia.
