KATEYE member Manon recently received weighted criticism for her apparent “bitter” behavior toward groupmate Lara’s family member.

The controversy in question stemmed from Manon’s birthday post on Instagram, which itself had become a hot topic for supposed jabs at KATSEYE and her ongoing hiatus from the group.

Fans were quick to notice that, though none of the members had interacted with Manon’s post, Lara’s sister and singer Rhea Raj had left a comment under it, wishing Manon a happy birthday. Initially, many praised Rhea for the gesture, but the conversation moved toward a controversy when fans noted that Manon had liked all the comments left by other celebrities under her post except Rhea’s.
