According to the latest reports, singer Lee Hi has confirmed her relationship with a well-known rapper.
Lee Hi | @hipkr_/InstagramOn March 28, multiple Korean media outlets reported that the singer will be releasing a new single, “You & Me,” featuring rapper Dok2. Along with the news of the release, the pair also officially confirmed the news of their romance!
Dok2 | @hipkr_/Instagram“You & Me” will be released under Lee and Dok2’s jointly founded label, 808 HI Recordings. The track, which tells the story of their relationship, will be released today, on March 28, at 6 pm KST. The duo will also appear in the official music video.
Meanwhile, Lee Hi rose to prominence through her appearance on SBS‘s K-Pop Star Season 1 and subsequently made her debut in 2012 with the single “1,2,3,4.” She co-founded 808 HI Recordings after her contract with AOMG expired recently. Dok2, on the other hand, debuted in 2005, contributing as a lyricist, composer, and featuring artist on Dynamic Duo‘s track, “Circus.” He has featured for other iconic artists as well, including Tiger JK and Epik High, even before his official debut as an artist. In 2006, he teamed up with rapper Microdot to form a duo named ALLBLACK.
