Lee Hi’s Past Comments About Her “Ideal Type” Resurface Amid Surprise Dating News

Did she hint at it all along?

K-Pop Star Season 1 runner-up Lee Hi, who is reportedly dating rapper Dok2, is now seeing her past comments about her ideal type brought back into the spotlight.

On March 28, 2026 (KST), Korean web magazine HIP broke news that the two stars confirmed their relationship alongside the release of their first single, “You & Me,” under their jointly established label, 808 HI RECORDINGS.

As the dating news circulated, Lee Hi’s past remarks have also drawn renewed attention. In February 2024, she appeared on the YouTube channel BdNS, where she was asked about her ideal type.

When given the choice between “someone she likes” vs. “someone who likes her,” Lee Hi responded, “It would be best if the person I like also likes me.” Then, when show host Moon Sang Hoon asked whether she would prefer someone in the same profession, Lee Hi mentioned she’d like “someone who does music.”
