While it can be easy to assume that celebrities who appear to have successful careers do not have money concerns, this is not always the case. Success is not always measured financially, meaning a star who has appeared in many works or has an established career might not be as rich as you think.
Recently, a legendary second-generation idol revealed her own hardships after leaving her successful group
In 2009, the girl group After School made their debut. After School had an admissions and graduation concept, meaning there were many line-up changes throughout their active years.

The group’s leader, Kahi, graduated in 2012 to focus on her solo career. Before her contract ended, she released one more album under Pledis Entertainment and then signed with Bonboo Entertainment, where she remained until 2020.

In 2016, she married her husband, with whom she has two children and had been residing in Bali until recently. On February 20, Kahi appeared on CGN‘s YouTube channel, discussing her daily life, including her earlier working years.
She admits after she left her group, she felt as if she hit “rock bottom,” explaining that she suffered financial difficulties and that her company did not take care of her at that time.
After quitting the group, I truly hit rock bottom. It was devastating. The company didn’t support me at all, and I really struggled to make ends meet.
— Kahi
Kahi says that by focusing on her religious life, she was able to eventually overcome her feelings of being lost and depressed, and found happiness with her family. Kahi now owns a dance academy, and appears to be happy with her life!
