LUN8 returned July 22 with its fourth mini album, Off the Grid, led by the title track "SNEAKERS."
The group introduced the record through "ON" and "OFF" concept photos that reflected its central theme: stepping away from everyday pressure and embracing a sense of freedom.
"SNEAKERS" translates that idea into a bright summer comeback built around LUN8's youthful performance style. The track and its accompanying promotions present the group in a lighter, more carefree setting suited to the season.
The release marks another step in LUN8's development since its 2023 debut under Fantagio. Rather than calling the group rookies three years into its career, Off the Grid is better viewed as part of an ongoing effort to sharpen its identity after several lineup and musical changes.
The album arrives during a busy week for K-pop releases, alongside new projects from artists including HYOLYN and fromis_9. Its escape-from-routine concept gives LUN8 a straightforward theme around which to organize the comeback.
