The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from April 11 to May 11.
BLACKPINK topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,420,364, marking a modest 0.05 percent increase in their score since April. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jennie,” “Rosé,” and “concert,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “participate,” “pre-sale,” and “record.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.98 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, IVE came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 5,185,979 for May.
TWICE jumped to third place after seeing a 41.47 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score for the month to 5,185,979.
Red Velvet followed close behind in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,422,031, marking a 55.58 percent rise in their score since last month.
Finally, aespa rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,192,945 for May.
