SBS’s upcoming drama “Spring of Youth” has offered a glimpse of special cameos from episodes 1 and 2!

“Spring of Youth” follows the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a superstar and a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls in college and begins to navigate campus life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and joins a college band, reigniting his love for music.

Ahead of the drama’s premiere, the “Spring of Youth” team surprised viewers by revealing the lineup of special cameos who will be appearing in episodes 1 and 2. The seven guest stars include comedian couple Son Min Soo and Lim La La, Kim Yong Myung, Moon Se Yoon, and entertainer siblings Jonathan and Patricia as well as Yoo Jae Pil.

First, Son Min Soo and Lim La La transform into a passionate campus couple, showing off bold displays of affection.

Kim Yong Myung takes on the role of a long-time student, perfectly portraying a character in worn-out sweatpants and delivering a spot-on annoyed performance.

Moon Se Yoon plays the owner of the convenience store where Kim Bom works part-time, showcasing his excellent slice-of-life acting. Moon Se Yoon remarked, “I’m a fan of the director’s previous projects, so I gladly agreed to appear. Let’s watch the broadcast together.”

Jonathan, Patricia, and Yoo Jae Pil appear as quirky students who, playing exaggerated versions of themselves, give Sa Gye bizarre answers, adding a comedic touch to the story.

Yoo Jae Pil, who hosted numerous fan meetings, showcases, and press conferences, praised Ha Yoo Joon after seeing him on set. He said, “Ha Yoo Joon always greets everyone with a bright smile and brings positive energy. He cheers up those around him, and I was able to film well thanks to that young energy.”

The production team stated, “We are deeply grateful to Son Min Soo, Lim La La, Kim Yong Myung, Moon Se Yoon, Jonathan, Patricia, and Yoo Jae Pil for readily agreeing to make special appearances. Please look forward to the performances of these seven stars, who will provide perfect pacing and energy in the whirlwind of episodes 1 and 2.”

“Spring of Youth” will air every Wednesday at 10:40 p.m. KST. The first two episodes are specially scheduled to air consecutively on May 6 and May 7, respectively.
