Citizens and celebrities have been coming together to help rescue workers and residents control the deadliest fire in the nation’s history.

With over 36,000 hectares burned and almost 40,000 residents forced to evacuate their homes, the government is doing everything possible to extinguish the fires.

With this, many celebrities have donated to help support relief efforts and restoration.

Korea’s Biggest Celebrities Donate Over 4 Billion KRW To Help Fight Korea’s Deadliest Wildfires In History

Below is an updated list of more celebrities that have donated to the cause.

NCT’s Doyoung

Doyoung has donated ₩50.0 million KRW (about $34,100 USD) each to firefighters and forest-fire stricken areas, for a total of ₩100 million KRW (about $68,200 USD).

BTS’s RM

BTS’s RM has donated ₩100 million KRW (about $68,400 USD) to help restore damage from wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie

Jennie donated ₩100 million KRW (about $68,200 USD) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help with recovery from wildfires in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.

RIIZE

K-Pop idol group RIIZE has donated ₩150 million KRW (about $103,000 USD) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association under their fandom name, BRIIZE.

Lyn

Singer Lyn donated ₩50.0 million KRW (about $34,100 USD) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help residents affected by the wildfires.

Shin Min Ah

Actress Shin Min Ah, donated ₩50.0 million KRW (about $34,100 USD) to the Korean Red Cross.

Han Ga In

Han Ga In donated ₩50.0 million KRW (about $34,100 USD) in the name of her YouTube subscribers.

It was also revealed that singer Kim Tae Woo donated ₩30.0 million KRW (about 20,461.47 USD), and actors Kim Sung Chul, Kim Se Jeong, and Jung Il Woo donated ₩20.0 million KRW (about 13,640.98 USD) each, joining the donation lineup.
