NCT’s MARK has released ‘+82 Pressin’’, a new single in collaboration with his fellow NCT member HAECHAN – out today via SM Entertainment. Listen HERE and watch the music video HERE.

A magnetic ode to Seoul, the single forms a vital piece in the storytelling of MARK’s eagerly anticipated debut album, “The Firstfruit”, which is due on 7 April. Pre-order/save HERE.

The lyrics, penned by MARK himself, reference South Korea’s country code +82, and use his and HAECHAN’s quick-fire vocals to paint a bold picture of the dynamic pair’s love for their current city of Seoul.

A hip-hop track with a thrumming bassline and whistle riffs, ‘+82 Pressin’ (feat. HAECHAN)’ is produced by acclaimed American producer Tommy Brown, who has worked with Ariana Grande for over a decade on some of her biggest hits (‘Thank U, Next’, ‘7 Rings’), plus The Weeknd, Reneé Rapp, and Normani.

The single sets the stage for MARK’s forthcoming debut album “The Firstfruit”, a 13-track project in tribute to the four cities that have been his foundation: his hometown Toronto; the first international city he immigrated to, New York City; the city of his school days, Vancouver; and finally, Seoul, where he realised his dreams of becoming an artist.

The album is split into four sections, each distinctly tied to the emotions and memories that correspond with that city for the artist. The project is a reflection of MARK’s story through the relentless efforts in overcoming challenges, from his childhood to becoming a member of the hugely successful group NCT, to standing tall as a solo artist.

The album also features the pre-release single, ‘Fraktsiya’, which dropped in December. A UK drill-inspired track – featuring Lee Young Ji, one of Korea’s leading rappers – the record offered a deeper look into the artistic style MARK is quickly claiming as his own: unrelenting verses, witty lyrics, and unadulterated confidence earned through hard-earned success.

MARK has spent nine years hitting exponentially new heights as a member of NCT sub-groups NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. In November last year, NCT DREAM brought their third world tour ‘THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM( )SCAPE’ to London’s OVO Arena Wembley, just one day after the release of their latest album “DREAMSCAPE”, which has already sold gone on to sell over a million copies. He is currently on the fourth NCT 127 world tour, “Neo City – The Momentum”, which spans Asia and North America.

In June, MARK is set to return to the UK to perform at SMTOWN Live in London at Allianz Twickenham Stadium on 28 June as part of both NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. The epic stadium concert, in celebration of SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary, also features over a dozen other K-pop stars including aespa, RIIZE, Red Velvet, and more.
