NEWBEAT Announces Debut With Pre-Release Track, “JeLLo (Sleepers)”

NEWBEAT is here! Their pre-release single “JeLLo” reveals hidden strength and sets the stage for an epic debut.

Beat Interactive’s highly anticipated K-pop boy group, NEWBEAT, has dropped their pre-release single, “JeLLo (Sleepers),” ahead of their official debut and the upcoming release of their full album, RAW AND RAD. The Korean title of the track, “힘숨찐 (him-soom-jjin),” refers to a person who may seem weak or ordinary on the surface but possesses hidden strength—someone who reveals their extraordinary power at crucial moments. The song’s title, “JeLLo,” a playful twist on “Hello,” reflects this theme of hidden potential, while also exploring love, salvation, and sacrifice.

Park Minseok, leader of NEWBEAT, shared, “It’s an incredible feeling to finally meet everyone with our first song! ‘JeLLo’ marks the first step for NEWBEAT, filled with our unique colors and energy. I really hope many people will enjoy it!”

NEWBEAT’s debut has been eagerly awaited since 2024, fueled by their U.S. busking performances and their roles as backup dancers for labelmates A.C.E. Before the release of the pre-release single, the group shared teaser videos that offered glimpses into their world and storyline. These teasers follow a girl and a unicorn on a quest to find the unicorn’s missing horn, teasing the adventure that will unfold with NEWBEAT’s debut.

NEWBEAT’s debut album, RAW AND RAD, is set for release on March 24th. Before then, fans can look forward to another pre-release single on March 12th, along with additional teasers building excitement ahead of the debut.

ABOUT NEWBEAT

NEWBEAT is a seven-member boy group under Beat Interactive, consisting of Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo. Formerly known as HinLOVE, the members of NEWBEAT have appeared in music videos and performed with their labelmates A.C.E. They also participated in A.C.E’s performances at KCON LA in July and August of 2024 and took part in the HIGH&LOW Donuts U.S. busking tour, collaborating with various dance crews across the country.

NEWBEAT will officially debut on March 24th with their first full album, RAW AND RAD.
