NewJeans Hyein Cancels Participation In 'How Sweet' Promotions, ADOR Releases Official Statement
On May 8, ADOR released an official statement declaring the continued hiatus of NewJeans' youngest member, Hyein.
According to the agency's statement, ADOR revealed that Hyein had visited the hospital due to feeling foot pain. The results of her medical checkup showed that Hyein had a microfracture on her foot, leading to her temporary hiatus.
ADOR then shared that Hyein is currently focusing on her recovery. This was followed by the advice of medical professionals, who suggested Hyein to minimize movement that can cause further strains in the affected area.
This led ADOR to conclude that Hyein would be unable to participate in NewJeans' "How Sweet" promotions, including music shows and other performances.
The agency then assured fans that Hyein's schedules with the group will be adjusted based on her health condition and medical opinion. Furthermore, ADOR kindly asked fans for their understanding regarding the situation and guaranteed the aid for her full recovery.

"Hello. This is ADOR.
We would like to thank the fans for always supporting and loving NewJeans, and we will update you on Hyein's health status, alongside her upcoming schedule.
Last month (April), Hyein experienced pain in the top of her foot during a practice session. She visited the hospital, where she went through a thorough examination and according to the results, a microfracture in her foot was discovered.
She has since been focusing on treatment and recovery. However, the medical professionals have advised her to minimize any movement that may put unnecessary strain on the affected area.
Consequently, Hyein will not be able to participate in the official promotional activities for the double single "How Sweet," including music shows and performances, in order to focus on her recovery.
For other scheduled appearances beyond music shows and performances, her participation will be adjusted in a flexible way based on her health and medical advice.
We would like to ask for your generous understanding, as we will support Hyein and her recovery to ensure her return to fans in good health,
