NewJeans recently appeared at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) on December 27, 2024. The girls looked gorgeous, sticking to their usual Y2K theme. However, this time, their outfits were criticized as it did not seem to fit the red carpet.

They were dressed rather casually. From left to right, Haerin was dressed in a white button-down and navy skirt. Hyein was in a silver babydoll dress. Danielle was in a cropped shirt and pleated skirt. Hanni wore a loose jacket over a bubble dress.

Minji‘s outfit received the most criticism for how plain it was. She was simply dressed in a tee and skirt.

Other groups had all been in more formal clothing. DAY6 were dressed in suits.

Despite their outfits, the girls smiled for the camera like pros.
