After the name change, ADOR responded to the news by asking the press to continue to use NewJeans rather than NJZ.
ADOR Firmly Asks Press To Use The Group Name NewJeans
Yet, it seems like NJZ’s focus on international media outlets has seen the group’s desire for a new start be respected, and it hasn’t been overlooked by netizens.
Recently, Vogue France released a new article, with the topic of “12 K-pop groups to follow in 2025.” There was an exclusive photo of the members for the article, where the group showcased their visuals and once again seemed to show a new image they wanted to push following the name change.
In particular, netizens noticed that when NJZ was mentioned, the publication used “NJZ (ex-NewJeans)” as the subheading.
Netizens shared their thoughts on the publication naming NJZ with their new name, hitting back at ADOR and that many publications are seemingly supporting the group ahead of their activities next month.
