OMEGA X’s First Sub-Unit, OX:N, Makes Their Debut with EP ‘N’

A fresh chapter begins for Jaehan, Xen, Jehyun, and Yechan as they explore limitless possibilities through sound, story, and soul.

OX:N, the very first sub-unit from OMEGA X, has officially made their debut with their first EP, N! This marks OMEGA X’s first release of 2025 and comes about seven months after the group dropped their second Japanese mini-album To. in November 2024.

The unit name OX:N carries two meanings: the N represents both the Roman numeral IV—symbolizing the four members (Jaehan, Xen, Jehyun, and Yechan)—and the mathematical variable n, standing for the infinite potential and new paths they’re ready to explore, both as OX:N and as part of OMEGA X.

The debut EP N features five tracks that offer a glimpse into OX:N’s more expressive and emotional side. From sultry pop to heartfelt ballads and high-energy rock, each song brings something new:

• “SUIT&TIE” kicks things off with a cool, composed exterior masking a rush of inner emotion—perfectly balancing poise with passion.

• “YOU” brings a blast of Y2K nostalgia with funky, retro vibes and an earnest message about giving yourself fully to love.

• “LET ME IN” is a vulnerable and reflective track composed by Xen, exploring heartbreak and the slow journey back to love.

• “ORPHEUS” draws inspiration from Greek mythology, telling a timeless tale of love and longing through soulful vocals.

• “CAUSE OF YOU” closes out the album with a powerful rock sound. Co-written and composed by Jaehan, the track captures the emotional weight of reuniting with someone who’s always held a place in your heart. It’s also a touching thank-you to FOR X—the fans who have stood by them through everything.

About OMEGA X

OMEGA X is an 11-member K-pop group under IPQ made up of Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan. The name combines Omega (Ω), the final letter of the Greek alphabet, symbolizing a grand finale, with X, which stands for the unknown—reflecting their commitment to growth, reinvention, and pushing boundaries.

Each member has walked their own unique path before joining OMEGA X, with experiences in survival shows and other groups. Together, they form a team that never gives up and continues chasing their dreams, ready to redefine what it means to rise again.
