Paparazzi Mistake Actress For BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Sparking Unexpected Reactions

The 2025 MET GALA took place on May 5, gathering dozens of celebrities to celebrate the museum’s exhibit.

K-Pop idols were also in attendance, including SEVENTEEN‘s S. Coups and BLACKPINK‘s Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé.

Many were excited that three out of four BLACKPINK members were present, but some appeared to believe all the members were present. This led to them mistakenly referring to a popular actress as Jisoo!

Along with the K-Pop idols, several other Asian celebrities were in attendance. Thai actress “Freen” Sarocha Chankimha attended the event as a representative for Valentino and enchanted netizens with her gorgeous visuals.

Following the event, fans discovered a video of Freen’s “blue” carpet walk and found that paparazzi were under the impression that she was Jisoo. The photographers called out “Jisoo” as Freen walked, trying to get her attention.

However, many fans were excited over the comparison rather than offended that the paparazzi mistook her for someone else. Not only is Jisoo beautiful, but Freen is a massive fan of BLACKPINK, so many felt it would likely excite her.
