Popular producer EL CAPITXN‘s upcoming virtual group is being accused of plagiarizing Stray Kids, specifically a song by I.N that featured member Hyunjin.

At the end of December 2023, I.N released a track called “untitled” that featured Hyunjin, and it quickly became a fan-favorite and a track special to the fandom.
At the end of 2024, it was announced that popular producer EL CAPITXN would be debuting a virtual idol group in 2025.

It was made along with a debut teaser video.
Recently, SKINZ released a mixtape on YouTube.
In the video comments, netizens shared their anger. Not only did they hit back at the song’s plagiarism, especially as it was promoted as being written and produced by SKINZ with the caption #SELFMADE, but netizens also pointed out the similarities to the name, as they thought SKINZ seemed a lot like the hangul used for Stray Kids.
On social media, netizens tried to get the attention of JYP Entertainment, asking them to take action and protect their artists.
