At the start of October, netizens were shocked as NewJeans’ song “ETA” suddenly went viral again, but this time among locals (non-K-Pop fans) as it was revealed that the popular streamer Jason had used the song for his subscriber celebration.

While he has been advertising content, pictures have gained attention on Korean forums showing Jason going around Korea with a sign supporting NewJeans. In the photos, the streamer is seen with a whiteboard on his back that reads “Free NewJeasn” while wearing some of the group’s merchandise.

In particular, Jason took a trip to HYBE and showcased his support for NewJeans amid the recent feud by showing the sign high. As he turned around, along with his NewJeans bag, he also had a t-shirt with the girls’ characters.
