BTS’s Jungkook previously went viral for his creative and unique recipes, introducing three noodle-based dishes for fans to try. If you’re looking for the perfect late-night snack or meal idea, here’s a breakdown of his culinary creations:

1. Bulguri Noodles

This is the original recipe that put Jungkook’s cooking skills in the spotlight. Bulguri noodles are a mix of two popular instant noodles: Buldak fire noodles and Neoguri noodles. Similar to the Parasite-inspired Jjapaguri, this fusion blends flavors for a deliciously spicy and savory dish.

Ingredients:

  • 650ml of water
  • 1 pack of Buldak fire noodles
  • 1 pack of Neoguri noodles
  • Perilla oil
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Boil water in a pan, then add all the Buldak sauce and half the Neoguri seasoning powder.
  2. When the soup starts to boil, add all the noodles from both packs. Cook until tender.
  3. Adjust the saltiness by adding up to 5 spoons of water if needed.
  4. Stir in the dry flakes from the Neoguri noodles.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, turn off the heat and mix in 1 tablespoon of perilla oil.
  6. Transfer to a bowl, top with sesame seeds and the dry flakes from the Buldak noodles, and enjoy!

2. Buldak Mayo Perilla Oil Noodles

Jungkook’s twist on traditional perilla oil noodles (deulgireum makguksu) incorporates spicy Buldak sauce for heat and creamy mayo for balance, resulting in a rich and satisfying dish.

Ingredients:

  • Perilla oil
  • Cham sauce (or oyster sauce as a substitute)
  • Buldak sauce
  • Buldak mayo sauce
  • Egg yolk (with whites and veins removed)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the sauces together in a bowl. For extra flavor, you can add red pepper flakes or minced garlic, though Jungkook doesn’t.
  2. Cook your noodles and rinse them with cold water.
  3. Plate the noodles and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Garnish with seasoned seaweed flakes and enjoy!
