The duet “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars has achieved another remarkable milestone.

On November 2, The Black Label announced that Rosé’s pre-released single “APT.” secured the 2nd position on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100. This chart, one of the two leading global pop charts alongside the US Billboard chart, marks a historic achievement for Rosé as the highest-ranking female K-pop artist on this chart. It also stands as the second-highest rank ever for a K-pop song on the official chart.

“Apt.” is a pre-release ahead of Rosé’s official comeback on December 6 and will be featured on her debut full-length album, titled rosie. The album, which includes “APT.”, consists of 12 tracks, all of which Rosé contributed to in writing and composing, sharing her honest and personal stories.

Released with its audio and music video on October 18, “APT.” achieved a “PAK” (Perfect All-Kill) by topping real-time charts, daily charts, and the Top 100 of major South Korean music streaming platforms like Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe right after its debut.

Following its domestic success, “APT.” has continued to make waves globally. It climbed to the top of Spotify’s US chart and dominated iTunes charts in 40 regions, while also achieving a top position on QQ Music, China’s largest music streaming platform.

Rosé is consistently breaking career records with “APT.” She became the first Korean female solo artist to reach No. 1 on Spotify in the US and the first to hit No. 1 on Spotify’s global Top Songs chart. She also set a record as the fastest female K-pop solo artist to reach 100 million streams on Spotify, achieving this in just 7 days post-release. Additionally, she debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100, marking the highest entry for a female K-pop artist with a single-digit stream count.

The music video for “APT.” features Rosé and Bruno Mars and has garnered significant attention for its engaging visuals, surpassing 100 million views within just 5 days of release. As of the 29th, it is rapidly approaching 200 million views, having reached 180 million. Rosé has maintained a dominant position on trending music charts in South Korea and the US, showcasing the global reach of her artistry.

Inspired by the popular “Apartment Game” in Korea, “APT.” reflects Rosé’s playful creativity. She mentioned,The Apartment Game is one I really enjoy. It’s simple, fun, and perfect for lifting spirits. One night, I began working on the song after showing my staff in the studio how to play and watching them have fun together, and then Bruno Mars joined in to complete the song.”
