SEVENTEEN's Hoshi will be debuting in a new group sub-unit, this time with member Woozi.
The two previously collaborated on the duet song "Shoot Me and Go," off SEVENTEEN's 2017 second album, Teen, Age.
The collab marks the second time that a duo from SEVENTEEN will be united since members Jeonghan and Wonwoo released their first single "This Man" in June.
The Hoshi x Woozi subunit will also be the group's second since BSS, or BooSeokSoon, a triplet sub-unit composed of Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan.
The triplet made their first appearance together on the unreleased song "Just Do It," as a treat for fans during a fan meeting. The group later officially released the track as a digital single in March 2018.
Hoshi and Woozi, same-age members of SEVENTEEn both born in 1996, have been nicknamed "Heavy Rain Warning" by fans, with the duo held in high regard as Hoshi boasts the title of the leader of SEVENTEEN's performance team, and Woozi the leader of the group's vocal team.
Hoshi, who is part of both sub-units, will be busy in the upcoming year as BooSeokSoon is set to make a comeback in early January.
