The new SM Entertainment lineup has been revealed, and Pink Bloods are rejoicing at the label's forthcoming debuts and comebacks for the 3rd quarter of 2024!
SM Entertainment Lineup 2024: Group Debuts
On May 8, the "BIG 3" label including SM unveiled the preview of its scheduled debuts and comebacks for the third quarter of this year (July, August and September 2024).
Starting with debuts, SM prepares for the opening of the solo careers of their top-tier artists including Red Velvet Irene, EXO Chanyeol, and NCT 127 Jaehyun with their first solo mini-albums.
In addition to them, naevis, one of the main characters in aespa's Worldview, will finally have her solo debut as well, after being postponed multiple times last year.

According to SM Entertainment, naevis will be voiced using AI (artificial intelligence) technology, unlike other virtual idols who were being operated by real humans behind the scene.
Meanwhile, SM will also debut two new groups including SMNGG and a new British boy group, but more information will be released ahead of their debut in Q4, 2024.
SM Entertainment Lineup 2024: Solos, Group Comeback
Aside from debuts, existing SM artists are also expected to make the third quarter of 2024 more exciting with their upcoming comebacks!
For soloists, Girls' Generation Taeyeon will finally release his fourth studio album, two years after dropping "INVU" in 2022. Her co-member Hyoyeon will then unveil another single.
Along with them, SHINee Key is also expected to drop both a JPN single and mini album around the summer.
For group comebacks, NCT 127 will drop a studio album, while its other sub-units such as NCT Wish and WayV will release its respective mini albums, the latter in Japan. The youngest sub-unit is also expected to expand its promotion in Korea with a single.
In addition to them, NCT Dream will make a comeback in the third quarter with a new English single.
Lastly, aespa and RIIZE will also enter the Japanese market with Japanese singles.
SM Artists Concerts, World Tour 2024
Meanwhile, there are also various concerts and world tours scheduled in the 3rd quarter including:
- 2024 NCT DREAM WORLD TOUR
- 2024 SUPER JUNIOR SHOW
- 2024 SUHO CONCERT
- 2024 KEYLAND ON: AND ON ASIA TOUR
In the meantime, aespa will release their first full-length album at the end of May, following EXO's Suho who will release his solo 3rd mini album, then RIIZE with their 1st mini album in June.
In the second quarter, Red Velvet and WayV will release mini albums, while Super Junior and NCT member Mark will release its single albums.
aespa will then perform in 14 cities around the world starting in June, while RIIZE which started holding fan concerts, is also moving overseas.
