Once the nominee list was released, many were surprised by the absence of any K-Pop idols on the list.
Additionally, the only group that was even indirectly mentioned in the list of nominees was aespa. The group were featured artists on “Over You” alongside Coldplay‘s Chris Martin on Jacob Collier’s Djesse Vol. 4, which is nominated for “Album Of The Year.”
Solo-wise, BTS’s Jungkook was mentioned for his inclusion on Usher’s Coming Home as the “Best R&B” nominated album includes the remix of “Standing Next To You.”
Reactions have varied, including confusion over various artists not earning a nomination. In particular, many fans have discussed the stats and impact releases had, questioning the nomination process.
Fans of ATEEZ also were left wondering how the group did not get a nomination, especially after their attendance and being featured at the Grammy Museum.
Jungkook is the most robbed artist in the music industry istg last year Seven and this year SNTY I'm just so mad golden made and broke so many records, thriving everywhere even after a year of release and you telling me it got no nominations ? FUCK YOU GRAMMY

I'm angry but I'm not even surprised it's not the first time that the Grammys use a K-pop group for their interests. Snubbed ateez? after all the articles that the Grammys themselves published? the Grammy museum? all that so that Atiny talks about the Grammys.

On the other hand, some fans have called out the Grammys for racism and xenophobia in its selection process.
well what we expected from racist grammys pic.twitter.com/14gxhAF6JS

Jungkook getting zero nomination just show how shite, biased, racist and unfair grammy is like Golden was one of the best albums out there and seven broke all records and not even a single nomination??? He was really robbed! Grammy doesn't deserve this man talent anyway

Grammys is a joke at this point. Jungkook had a massive hit. Lisa outshined many of nominated artists. These both artist had success back to back but no nomination. Exactly what grammy looks for the nomination??? Be a white?
