On July 8th, Starship Entertainment launched a highly anticipated public audition to discover talented individuals for an upcoming boy band that will debut by 2025.

Open to male applicants born between 2003 and 2010, the “2025 New Kids on the Starship” audition invites aspiring artists to apply through a designated link found in the description section of the agency’s announcement video on YouTube. This opportunity extends globally, welcoming foreign participants as well.

The new boy band will follow in the footsteps of Starship Entertainment’s successful groups like MONSTA X and CRAVITY, which made their debut in May 2015 and April 2020, respectively. Notably, this will be the agency’s first new K-Pop boy band since the introduction of girl group IVE in December 2021.

The audition will accept applications from July 8th through July 24th. The initial phase of auditions will be conducted online, requiring candidates to submit a self-introduction video along with a demonstration of their talents in vocals, rap, dance, or acting.

Successful candidates from the online round will progress to the second phase, which is conducted offline. Those who advance will receive further details regarding the location and timing of this stage.

With a debut target set for 2025, selected participants will have the opportunity to achieve the fastest debut in Starship Entertainment’s history, marking a significant milestone in their careers.

Starship Entertainment boasts a diverse roster of artists, including renowned singer K.Will, soloist Jeong Se-woon, dynamic boy bands MONSTA X and Cravity, and popular girl groups IVE and WJSN.
