Recently, an online community post went viral as a K-Pop fandom fought over the same nickname used by two idols.

Mega Coffee, a coffee brand holding cup holder events for all the NCT WISH members, posted a notice stating that they would announce something different this week because Sakuya‘s birthday is in November.

In the initial post, they used the term “baby bread” for Sakuya because he loves bread and also has a nickname related to bread.

However, after Stray Kids’ fans terrorized the comments regarding the nickname, the brand deleted the post and re-uploaded it without using the “baby bread” nickname.

I understand that Sakuya is cute, but I don’t think it’s right to use a nickname that has been officially used by a senior idol for many years. ‘Baby bread’ is I.N.’s and Sakyua can be Sakubbang. Please change the post so that this cute idol won’t get criticized. I’m saying this in the nicest way possible.

Why is everyone attacking…having the same nickname is a sensitive subject. I am also sensitive about it; since the brand has fixed the post, let’s stop talking about it. I’m embarrassed to see STAYs attacking NCT WISH.

‘Baby Bread’ is a nickname used in K-Pop for Stray Kids’ I.N. Don’t use this nickname for other idols to gain popularity.

They finally changed it. So f*cking hilarious.

However, netizens were shocked to see fans calling out another idol for something the brand posted.
