The night of the Baeksang Arts Awards was filled with shining stars

On May 7, 2024, COEX D Hall in Gangnam was heated up with the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony, a major festival of Korean pop culture. The biggest highlights of the night were the movie "12.12 The Day" and the drama "Moving," each winning the Grand Prize in their respective movie and TV categories.

Director Kim Sung-soo of "12.12 The Day" heightened the meaning of the night by lifting two trophies. Director Kim expressed his gratitude, stating, "The success of this movie was possible thanks to the love from the audience," and also delivered a message of hope for the gradually recovering cinema industry after the pandemic.

In the TV category, Disney Plus's "Moving" won the grand prize. Director Park In-je and the production company Studio & New thanked everyone who joined them in this challenging journey.
