The Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters was recently released to much success.

KPop Demon Hunters is about a K-Pop girl group who live double lives as demon hunters, facing a rival boy group who are secretly demons. The movie has topped Netflix in at least 22 countries worldwide since its June 20th release.
While the boy group, Saja Boys, are demons, many viewers have enjoyed discussing them, including their real-life inspirations. Recently, netizens were surprised by the reveal of the voices behind the boy group.

Many were already aware that the Saja Boys’ leader was voiced by actor Ahn Hyo Seop, in his first voice acting role.
However, less may know that Andrew Choi, a singer and composer under SM Entertainment, voiced Jinu‘s singing voice. Choi, who placed third on K-Pop Star Season Two, has composed for numerous artists, including Monsta X, NCT 127, and SHINee‘s Taemin.

Abs Saja‘s, voiced by Sungwon Cho, singing voice was provided by NECKWAV, a singer who has released several R&B and Soul tracks.

Romance Saja was voiced by Joel Kim Booster, with his singing voice being provided by SamUIL Lee, who appears to have previously gone by Taebot.

Baby Saja, the group’s maknae, does not have a credited voice actor, but was vocally performed by Danny Chung. Chung is a singer-song writer currently affiliated with THE BLACK LABEL.
In addition to his own songs, Chung has done lyrics for many artists under YG Entertainment, including BLACKPINK and Jeon Somi.

Finally, Mystery Saja, voiced by Alan Lee, is the only member whose singing voice is provided by a K-Pop idol. U-KISS‘s Kevin Woo provides the singing voice for the character, has been active as a solo artist in recent years, even making his Broadway debut in 2022.
