  • “Jisoo must feel so embarrassed, haha;”

  • “I mean, what are we supposed to do if the director’s the one messing up…”

  • “LOL the wording is hilarious — basically saying, ‘It doesn’t matter because her screen time is short,’ right?”

  • “????? What does that even mean… Isn’t that kind of disrespectful to Jisoo too..?;;”

Even international fans hit back at the comments when it was shared online.

Director Kim Byung-woo (#ORV) mentioned JISOO in his latest interview.

“It would be good if the backgrounds of great people (like Yi Sun-sin) appeared, but there is an order. …If it weren't for #JISOO, she could become a character that people could not know well about.” pic.twitter.com/IvxvMxkD6s

They hit back at the director for seemingly using Jisoo’s fame and influence for “clout,” and despite her small role, the constant mention of the star has led her to get hate.

I hope you will not meet nasty people like him in the future @officialBLISSOO #JISOO https://t.co/R4pDTqfVU6

Every time this guy gives explanations, it made my blood boil with anger! He indirectly confessed that he use jisoo’s fame and made her a scapegoat at the forefront facing those orv fans’ frustration. https://t.co/96lYDfcFn4
