A K-Pop girl group member confessed that she lost confidence while promoting, expressing concerns for her future.
On July 10th, a video titled “Lee Young Ji 02s Gauntlet Last Piece Appearance” was released on YouTube.
In the video, Billlie’s Tsuki appeared as a guest and shared her honest feelings about her activities with Lee Young Ji. Tsuki surprised Lee Young Ji by confessing, “I have low self-esteem.”

She revealed, “I thought I started off well with the showcase and activities, but my confidence has been declining day by day. I worked hard and thought I did well, but since it doesn’t seem that way, I keep wondering how I can get better evaluations and be seen in a better light.”
In response, Lee Young Ji comforted her by saying, “Billlie needs to be known, you need to be known, and the new full-length album needs to be known too. You have a lot to do.”
Tsuki expressed, “Billlie is now in its fifth year, and the contract renewal is coming up soon. So, I worked really hard on this full-length album with the thought that ‘there might not be another chance like this,’ but it’s disappointing that I keep wondering if I did well or not.”

She added, “From music show outfits to hair and makeup, I always tried to show a fresh side. After music shows, I’d select photos while sleepy because I thought fans would like them and then post them. But in the end, I’m always left wondering, ‘Did I do well in this comeback?’”
She went on to say, “No one around me says I’m doing well,” which drew sympathy. Tsuki said, “Of course, that also helped me grow and try harder, but we’re all working hard together. So, I don’t know how well I’m really doing. I’m the kind of person who can give 100% just by hearing someone say, ‘You did well.’”

Hearing Tsuki’s story, Lee Young Ji showed tears. She said, “I feel a bit upset. When I first saw you on stage with long straight hair, I felt jealousy. It was a feeling beyond admiration. I’m someone who wants to dance well and act naturally on stage, and seeing you, I was jealous. It made me want to do that too,” she honestly confessed.
She continued, “Many people doing this work besides me must have felt that way, so if there are people who don’t say you did well, it’s probably because they’re jealous,” offering sincere encouragement that moved many.
