This Main Dancer Makes Fans 'Upset' Due to His Improvement — Here's the Hilarious Reason

Day6 Sungjin became a hot topic online for his improved dancing skills.

On Dec. 18, TWICE released new entries of their "STRATEGY" dance challenge featuring a fellow JYP artist, Sungjin.

In the video, the Day6 member shocked with his moves, rocking the killing parts of the girl group's new song. His oozing confidence and groove also made viewers' jaws drop.

The band member is known as the leader, main vocalist, and guitarist of Day6. However, he's also the unofficial main dancer of the group. Main dancers are often the best dancers or the ones responsible the most for the dance parts of their songs.

However, it is different in Sungjin's case. He was initially given this title by fans simply because of his hilarious and unserious passion for dancing. Since Day6 is a band, they are not required to dance; thus, it is understandable. But fans can't help but turn him into a meme.

Since the rise of dance challenges, Sungjin's collab with other artists has been adored by fans and although he kept on messing up the rhythm, it was relatable for fans who can't also dance.

But following his recent dance challenge with TWICE, netters from theqoo rave over his improvement, which they claimed was kind of "upsetting."

"I felt betrayed. Why did [he] improve?" said a fan.

"I feel upset because he danced so well," seconded another supporter.

"Is this the same person who took lessons from JYP for three years but the dance teacher gave up?" teased another.

Initially, Sungjin trained for 3 years to become a dance idol, but JYP created Day6 to focus on his vocals instead.

While fans are happy with his improved skills, they can't help but miss the Sungjin they used to tease. Seeing the new clips, they jokingly asked him to go back to beginner level, per the comments.

"I'm sorry for making you feel sad, but can't you just stay like that?" asked a commenter.

"Sungjin, don't lose your original intention, I'm upset," added another fan.

"He's like my father, doing all sorts of things (no offense)," wrote a netizen.
