CRAVITY Unleashes “Longing” in Expansive New Album Dare to Crave
According to their agency Starship Entertainment, Cravity will drop their second full-length album ‘Dare to Crave’ on various music platforms today at 6 PM KST, marking the beginning of their full-fledged comeback promotions.
Dare to Crave signifies daring to yearn, embodying a bold instinct. Continuously weaving ‘longing’ into the ongoing narrative of youth, Cravity bares their hearts as they venture into a broader worldview.
Since their debut in 2020, Cravity has consistently embraced challenges, evolving through steadfast performances and teamwork. Their sincerity shines through in ‘Dare to Crave’, their first full-length album in about three years. Leading with the title track ‘SET NET G0?!’, the album features tracks like ‘On My Way’, ‘Rendez-vous’, ‘Straight Up To Heaven’, ‘Stadium’, ‘Marionette’, ‘Underdog’, and ‘Wish Upon A Star’, totaling 12 diverse tracks. All members contributed to writing, composing, and producing, showcasing Cravity’s multifaceted talents. ‘SET NET G0?!’ solidifies their resolve to persist rather than merely achieve, employing dreamy synth fluxes, intense basslines, and captivating vocal chops to express youthful energy and the courage to boldly navigate the uncertainties of youth.
Ahead of its release, Cravity heightened anticipation by unveiling a track visualizer for ‘Dare to Crave’ on their official SNS on the 22nd. This video previewed highlights from all songs, complemented by striking artwork that underscores the album’s diversity. The track visualizer underscores the album’s rich musical spectrum and the members’ robust vocal abilities.
Celebrating their fifth debut anniversary this year, Cravity has sparked interest with unique initiatives, including a revamped logo reminiscent of grapes and stems, as well as a group name change to ‘Cravity’, merging ‘Crave’ and ‘Gravity’. This new moniker symbolizes their unwavering desire, akin to gravity itself.
As Dare to Crave hits the airwaves today at 6 PM, expectations are high for Cravity’s exploration of ‘longing’ within their expanded narrative.
