Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) is around the corner! In Korea, Chuseok is one of the two most important festivals alongside Seollal (Korean Lunar New Year). Both festivals come with three days of national holidays, and Koreans would usually visit their relatives and enjoy quality family time together.

During Chuseok, Koreans would enjoy various festive delicacies such as songpyeon (sweet-filled, half-moon-shaped rice cake) and folk games like jegichagi (shuttlecock game) under the full moon. Chuseok is also a perfect time to introduce your other half to your family.

1. SF9’s JaeYoon

SF9’s JaeYoon has a typical sweet and obedient “church oppa” image that every parent would dream of their future son-in-law to have. JaeYoon has a cheerful personality that he always wears a charming smile with heart-shaped lips and deep dimples on both sides of his cheeks, radiating gentle warmth like the winter sunshine and melting the hearts of people around him. 

Diving deeper into JaeYoon’s personality, he is a caring person who always treats his fans with love. A new FANTASY once commented on a V-Live session that she has decided to study about SF9.

JaeYoon then replied to her that there is no need to study, and she can just enjoy SF9’s songs and share mutual feelings with SF9. JaeYoon’s warm response proves that he is a sweet guy who always thinks from the perspective of his fans.

Kyrell is also a sociable and kind person who gets along well with anybody. Wonder Girls’ Hyerim revealed that Kyrell brought her jelly when he went to her radio show “Wonder Hours With Hyerim”, adding that she was really touched by this surprise gift (at 2:20).

Kyrell also has a close bond with his parents and even his members’ relatives, that he was wearing a necklace that his mom gave him during the radio show (at 25:40). 

In another episode of the program, Kyrell revealed that he originally planned to study Computer Science at university, and he often talked to his teammate Kamden’s twin brother Kade, who is currently doing the same major. With such a warm and approachable personality, it is easy to picture him having a nice chat with your parents during the Chuseok family gathering!

Although Kyrell is an American, he is talented in cooking Korean cuisine. In one of the episodes of AMPERS&ONE’s YouTube content series “&MATE”, Kyrell took on a challenge to wake all his teammates up and cook breakfast for them.

He showed his cooking skills by making haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) and kimchijeon (kimchi pancake), and amazed his teammates by successfully flipping the pancake by tossing the frying pan (at 22:33). 3. ATEEZ’s San

ATEEZ’s San often showcases a fierce and sexy image on stage, but guess what, he is a cute kitten offstage just like his ANITEEZ character SANdeoki! Same as Kyrell, San’s eyes would turn into crescent moons when he smiles, and his deep dimples make him extra adorable. His “reverse charm” will definitely make your parents swoon over him from head to toe!

Apart from being handsome and cute, San is a warm-hearted and mature person. He once told fans that their first priority should be themselves instead of ATEEZ, and that they should always love themselves. This proves that San is very considerate, and he knows how to respect people around him and set boundaries for interpersonal relationships. 

Moreover, San always shows love and appreciation to his family and hometown. San is a family-oriented person, he once said that family comes first in everything, and often talks about his family and showcases his deep affection for them.

Although San is busy with his schedule as an idol, he still tries to spend time with his parents. San once shared on his Instagram that he participated in his parents’ “remind wedding” photoshoot and treated his parents to a nice meal. 

San also has a great sense of belonging to his hometown, Namhae, and he has been actively promoting Namhae through different means. Not only did San donate to the “hometown love fund” of Namhae, but he has also been working as the honorary ambassador of Namhae tourism since 2021.

This year, he even filmed a promotional travel program with his teammate SeongHwa to introduce tourist attractions in Namhae. It is hard for parents not to approve of this attractive, benevolent, and mature “hyoja” (a dutiful son who practices filial piety) to be your boyfriend! 

4. Stray Kids’ Felix 

Stray Kids’ Felix has a baby face with big sparkling eyes, deep double eyelids, and a lovely smile. The freckles across his cheeks give his adorable visual an extra boyish touch, which elicits a sweet and cute image and forms an interesting contrast to his deep and magnetic voice when he talks and raps. 

Alongside his gorgeous visuals, Felix also possesses a beautiful soul. Felix always donates to international organizations such as UNICEF and World Vision to support healthcare and education development in developing countries.
