According to police reports on October 10, 2025 (KST), comedian Lee Jin Ho‘s girlfriend was found dead in her apartment.

A friend discovered her body around 8:30 AM on October 5 and reported it to the Incheon Bupyeong Police. The police confirmed the deceased to be the girlfriend of comedian Lee Jin Ho, who was apprehended on charges of driving under the influence in September 2025.

Reportedly, the late girlfriend suffered extreme emotional distress after she was identified by Dispatch as the person who reported Lee Jin Ho for drunk driving—though, the police are claiming that the girlfriend’s identity as the initial reporter was never disclosed to the press.

The police added that they will continue investigating the specific circumstances of the case, including whether there is any connection between the comedian’s DUI and his girlfriend’s death. Incheon Bupyeong Police did comment, “There are no confirmed criminal charges at this time,” and added that no other detailed information will be disclosed in respect of the bereaved.
That said, Korean netizens are fuming at Dispatch for “murdering” the late girlfriend.
