After solidifying its status as a K-pop leader in the fourth gen, TXT has been confirmed to take a well-deserved break. However, the news was trailed by sentiments from some K-pop fans, who demanded the same hiatus for ENHYPEN.
On December 10, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement announcing TXT's temporary halt in their activities. According to the agency, the TXT members will go for a long-term break after concluding their attendance at the upcoming 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5.
"During this time, the members plan to spend quality moments with their families and take time to rest, preparing to return to MOA with an extraordinary 2025 ahead," BIGHIT shared.
The agency then asked fans to give their support and understanding to the members during their recuperation. It also assured that TXT will regroup again after spending time away from scheduled activities and showcase more of their gratitude to fans once they return.
MOAs let out a sigh of relief knowing that all five members of TXT will be recharged after all the hard work they've done.
Meanwhile, the news of TXT's long-term break also ignited reactions from ENGENEs, who called for the same leisure for ENHYPEN.
The requests were also rooted in the boy group's exhaustion, which was most likely caused by their non-stop comebacks, promotions, and concert tours.
