Underage Girl Group Member’s Revealing “Thong” Outfit Sparks Massive Criticism

Recently, girl group MADEIN‘s agency has fallen under scrutiny again.

In November 2024, a former member of MADEIN, Gaeun, reportedly made sexual assault allegations against the group’s company’s CEO. Ultimately, Gaeun departed from the group, with the company claiming it was for personal reasons.

Since then, fans have protested and boycotted the group, with the members allegedly interacting with posts about these efforts.

Now, an outfit worn by one of the members has sparked criticism against the company.

On February 7, the track “Saturn” from the group’s upcoming single album was released, along with a music video.

Fans noticed that during the video, member Nagomi was wearing an outfit that revealed the skin of her stomach.

The outfit was discovered to be a bodysuit by the brand Namibia, which features a thong-like bottom that exposes the backside. While worn by Nagomi, it appears to follow the “exposed thong” fashion trend.

While the outfit would not be an issue for many idols, Nagomi is the group’s youngest member at 17 years old.

Many fans expressed discomfort with the company, especially following the other controversies, and demanded that action be taken.
