Recently, a video has gone viral showing both IVE and BLACKPINK performing in the rain.

And compared it to BLACKPINK dancing and singing in the rain during their concert.

The comments were full of malicious comments, with some hyping up BLACKPINK more but many using it as an excuse to hate on Wonyoung, trying to say IVE stayed under the tent to protect her makeup, implying she only cares about her image.

Yet, netizens quickly defended IVE and Wonyoung, explaining how a free university performance is very different from concerts that fans pay for and that it is common for idols to perform under tents at these festivals when it rains. In particular, they didn’t understand why this kind of video always led to hate towards member Wonyoung.

The video has over 125,000 likes and has been viewed nearly 2 million times.
